Amazon first gave us the electronic reader for reading e-books. Next came applications for Windows, BlackBerry and iPhone. The latest offering by Amazon is the e-book reading software for Mac OS X. The software is free and it lets you read electronic books that you have purchased from Amazon’s Kindle store which currently has 450,000 books on sale. Through the software, you can buy new books or read the ones that you have already bought. You can also view highlights and notes but cannot make new one. Beta version means that the manufacturer’s of the software are currently working on the application and they haven’t completed the work. Microsoft Zune was a good alternative to the Apple iPod. Now, Microsoft launched new – Zune HD, which is only one alternative to Apple iPod Touch in terms of pricing and beauty. There are a lot of LCD panels for this category of small TVs and among the many that we have reviewed; we found that Samsung LN26B360 is the best in picture quality. The black level performance is commendably and it leads in other areas too. The downside is that it lacks features that you expect to find in such TVs and it’s also a bit expensive as compared to competition. If money is not a question for you and if you want the best picture quality in this size, we would recommend you this TV. Samsung LN26B360’s menu system and remote are both simplified and smaller as compared to its larger siblings. Cisco had made a revolutionary announcement about the major advanced Internet router – Cisco CRS-3 Carrier Routing System. It is capable of delivering 322 Terabits per second that is triple the 92-Tbps of its predecessor the CRS-1.
