thumbnail
For everyone who is planning to get into shape before the heavy eating and the heavy drinking season during christmas, Nintendo brings in good news in the form of the Nintendo Wii Fit Plus. This one is being launched on the 30th of October in the U.K. Its older sibling the Wi-Fit is probably the only form of exercise that most of us get these days. The Wii-Fit plus pack offers around 15 new balance games and six new strength-training and yoga games. Like during actual workouts, this one also has options of customizing the exercise routines to work out specific parts of the body. For example it has specifics regimes for strengthening the arm muscles. It has health routines which help you work on the tummy and also a youth routine which helps you work on the body and the mind as well as the lower body. This one also has a calorimeter which helps you keep track of the exact amount of calories being burnt in a day. This calorimeter estimates the amount of oxygen  [...]

Review Of The Dell Latitude XT2 Laptop

thumbnail
In 2008 Dell came up with the Latitude XT which was the first laptop to have a capacitive touchscreen. Now we have the second generation of this laptop making its appearance along with added multitouch features. Which means that like on an iPhone the user can perform multiple gestures like rotating or zooming using multiple features. Though this one comes with a added multitouch this one doesn’t look any different from its older sibling. The dimensions are pretty much identical at (11.7 x 8.6 x 1.0 inches) and weight (3.8 pounds). Its got a matte black keyboard along with brushed aluminium lid and palm rest. Below the display the convertible has four buttons i.e. power buttons, for orientation changing, settings button and one that performs the same function as ctrl+alt+delete. The screen does rotate automatically when the orientation is changed but I noticed that the screen goes dark for a second or so and then the resized picture appears. At the lower right there is a finger print  [...]

Review Of The New Toshiba Laptop- Toshiba Satellite T135

thumbnail
Though Toshiba made a late entry into the Netbook market, looks like it has directly jumped into with Ultra Low Voltage category with vengeance. Its got style that speaks volumes about its class. Frankly this one could send any techie drooling over it. Brilliantly styled and available in Black, Red and White, this one is definitely amongst the best designed netbooks I ve seen till date. Its got a nice subtle pattern which extends throughout the lid, the keyboard and the touchpad. Obviously the touchpad is a bit textured. Though this one has a glossy look it isn’t exatly the finger print like most others in the category. At 3.8 pounds this one is quite lightweight and can be held easily in one hand. It easily fits into the shoulder bag. The keyboard of this one could appear to be slightly cramped if we compare it with the dimensions of the netbook at 12.7 x 8.8 x 1.4 inches. The thing is the manufacturers have left around an inch on both the sides of the deck, rather they could  [...]

Nokia N86 Review – The New Cell Phone

thumbnail
Let me start of with the main attraction on the N86,i.e the camera. Though not an industry first, this one is the first in Nokia’s range. This high end camera offers features like the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, dual-LED flash, 20x digital zoom, and video recording at up to 30 frames per second. However this one doesn’t offer features like face and smile detection. It would have been nice to have them on this one especially since it claims too replace the regular digital camera. The images were bright and sharp with no display of noise whatsoever. During the nighttime however the images appeared to be a bit grainy, but then again this one has decent image quality considering that this one is a camera phone. Also the video quality was decent enough with no interferences in between. The pictures can also be edited using the photo editor and then stored on the phone. This one comes loaded with an inbuilt memory of 8GB and can be expanded upto 16GB. Moving ahead, this one supports  [...]

Excited About The New LG Chocolate BL20 Phone

thumbnail
LG has finally announced the BL20, which rings in more style than substance. If the Buzz making the rounds is to believed then this one would surely be cheaper than the BL40. Now that’s like putting the slider back in the Chocolate and offering it for a more cheaper rate. What else could anyone probably ask for? Though the specs of this one aren’t as impressive as the one of the BL40 this one could definitely rule the roost thanks to its budget pricing. Its got a 900mAH battery on board which simply means a standby time of 450 hours and 5 hours of talktime. The resolution of the screen of this one is quite less at 240x320 pixels. It comes loaded with a 5 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1. The micro SD slot can hold cards upto 16GB. The official date for the U.K release is not yet out but of what we ve heard this one would be offered by O2. Also those who want to have a quick glance at this marvel, the video is provided below.

Review Of The Nokia 6303 Classic Cell Phone

thumbnail
This one isn’t a high end  dainty phone but can be very well be called the successor of the 6300. In short this  one could be just like the girl next door, simple yet adorable. Anyways all my superfluous metaphors aside, this one has a lot to offer if your looking forward to a no-nonsense, highly functional phone. The Nokia 6303 weighs a decent 95g making it quite lightweight and at 08.8(h) x 46.2(w) x 11.7(d)mm its quite lightweight which makes it easy to slip it into the pocket. This one is available in two colours black and silver, though I personally liked the look of the black one. The curves give it a nice quality touch. This one resembles a slider phone as the navigation keys and the display are raised above the keyboard. The navigation array has a OK button in the centre surrounded by the talk and end buttons. The numberpad beneath the navigation array has well placed keys. They provide sufficient room for a comfortable typing experience. Its got a 2.2-inch, QVGA (320x240  [...]
