Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 Digital Camera Review

thumbnail
This device has all the features that one looks in a camera. The lens of the camera bulges out for finer pictures. This camera doesn’t have a view finder though and so this disappoint the people who are use this feature. Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 feels great on your hand and it is comfortable to hold it, the Nikon Coolpix S70 which we reviewed earlier had a lot of issues while handling and we ended up getting our finger in between the lens most of the time. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 is simple to use in basic controls and basic photography. There is a camera memory where in you can store up to six faces along with their names and birthdays. There are also settings to change the aperture and shutter speed and see the effects in advanced, just like “print preview” in computers. Storing of video content is available in formats of AVCHD or Motion JPEG MOV files. You will find that the AVCHD is better than the motion JPEG format. It also has four levels of intelligent exposure  [...]

Review Of Apple iMac

The Apple iMac 27 inch is a great looking computer and we couldn’t get enough of staring at it. It sports the thin look that Apple products have been known to have. This is the first time that a 27-inch screen has been used in a computer. Windows has never used this and 24 inch is the closest that Apple has got and that was the company’s earlier model. So let’s talk more about the screen. This 27 inch beast supports 2,560x1,440 pixels. Watching movies and playing games are absolute pleasure on this baby. Also this screen is an IPS (In-line plane switching) which is superior to other TN panels that are mostly used. TN panels have one drawback that the whites do not appear that bright and the darks are so dark that it can’t be seen, all you see is a big black patch. This is clear when you watch movies or play games. Since this is a IPS panel you won’t face this problem. A larger resolution also gives you more space to work within the screen. The 27 inch monitor will easily  [...]

Review Of Nikon Coolpix S70 Digital Camera

Nikon is a well known name in the camera industry and has been known to make good digi-cams. Nikon Coolpix S70 won’t disappoint you either. The camera looks really cool. You have to slide down a thin metal lens cover and it reveals the lens inside. The back of the device has a big 3.5 inch, 288k dot resolution and it is all touch screen. Now this may be good for people who love touch screen technology but it adds to the cost of the camera. If you are crazy about touch screen and don’t mind shelling out a few more bucks for it then go for this one. The touch screen big screen takes up the entire back panel and the lens are located at the top. So when you are clicking the photos you are bound to get a finger in between them and spoil your photos. So make sure you handle the camera right before clicking. We had some problems with this, the finger or the shadow of the finger  [...]

Review Of Asus Eee Top ET2002 Desktop

thumbnail
The system runs on a Windows Vista Premium Home edition, even after the Windows & has been introduced into the market. There are no major technological highlights in this system; rather it is a slow, outpaced system that needs a revival other than the inclusion of just the dedicated graphics card that NVIDIA provided. The 20 inch TFT screen would’ve been attractive had it had a touchscreen. The system has not played on its strengths as a small compact nettop, thus it is lagging behind the competition and hasn’t been able to create any waves in the market. Nitty Gritty: The Eee Top Et2002 is a donkey in a horse derby. It is seriously lagging behind by a mile. Asus may have to change the strategies if it has to ensure that its range of Eee Tops and eee Pc systems enjoy a certain rate of success. As of now, there is sadly nothing to recommend about this system, rather  [...]

Review Of Samsung DualView TL225 Digital Camera

The smaller screen on the front is a very nice touch and don’t be fooled with the simplicity. It also can display your countdown for clicking photos on timer, and can display animation to grab attention of babies while clicking pictures. It surely is a very clever thought and a truly interesting feature. The image stabilization helps in self portraits too. It seems like the whole camera has been designed around the front screen, and the final result is pretty interesting and attractive. The touchscreen at the back hides a whole pot load of menus and selections. There are some very interesting features and one of them is focusing in program more. You can touch your desired point of focus on the screen and the camera focuses and shoots, keeping your point of focus as priority. There are thirteen screen types which you can manually choose and a further eleven in auto shoot mode that the  [...]
