Heartbeats By Lada Gaga Headphones From Monster – Stunning Looks

thumbnail
Lady Gaga perhaps made sure that this pair of headphones really looks good before she gave permission for her name to be used on the set. Some might feel that the manufacturers have tried to be too fashionable but looking at Lady Gaga’s lifestyle, we completely understand. The price of these super sexy headphones is $120 but you can get it around for $100 if purchased online. The stylish headphones are made for women and we doubt if men would buy it even if it didn’t have the name of the pop star on the set. The build of the headphone is too feminine for men, especially with the attached triangular earpieces. While the triangular blocks on the headphones look good they are not ergonomically comfortable in the ear because the edges of the triangle blocks press against the skin of the ear and hence cause discomfort. It also makes the buds come out of the ear occasionally. The manufacturer bundles three sizes of the silicone made ear tips  [...]

M-Audio Studiophile AV 30 – Awesome For Music

thumbnail
M-Audio speakers are used more by music producers and musicians than computer users. Maybe it is because the price is a bit high however it is accompanied by awesome sound quality. This $99 speaker set is the budget friendly version of the $150 Studiophile AV 40. This speaker set looks a lot like AV 40 and the quality also is almost the same. However this set uses a cheaper amplifier and hence the sound quality is a bit low. However all this is done in order to bring the price down. The cut down on hardware certainly won’t go well with audio enthusiasts and we would advice them to go for AV 40 if you don’t want to compromise on sound quality. This speaker also has the same silk, ferrofluid cooled, .75 inch dome tweeters that the AV 40 has. There are jacks on the left speaker for auxiliary input and headphone output. Other than this there is an illuminated knob for controlling the volume. The behind the left speaker, there is RCA inputs and  [...]

Review Of Panasonic TC-P54S1- Best Value For Money

thumbnail
LCD and plasma TVs have been locking horn over the years and now plasma has been relinquishing and LCD seems to have won the battle when it comes to TV market. LCDs are now available in 65 and 55 inch sizes which has led to plasma screen lowering their prices (and thus, lowering the features) in order to lure customers. Panasonic is a giant in this game and has been making versatile LCDs and plasma panels time and again. We got 54-inch Panasonic TC-P54S1 and there are other sizes available for this series like 65 and 58 inch. The features are all the same and apart from the screen size, there are no differences. This TV is full HD plasma TV and is capable for 1080p resolution of videos but no 1080p/24 reproduction which is preferred by videophiles. The remote is good but we didn’t like the three buttons Viera Tools, SD Card and Viera Link which hog the surface and don’t give enough room for more important buttons like menu. We think the three  [...]

Grand Theft Auto – The Ballad Of Gay Tony – Awesome And Outrageous Game

thumbnail
We have been fans of Grand Theft Auto series and there is something new in every game which we look forward too. Although GTA IV had some frustrating moments, all that has been taken care of in this installment and The Ballad of Gay Tony (TBOGT) is arguably now one of the best games of the GTA series. In TBOGT you are Louis Lopez, a Dominican who is the body guard of Tony Price or Gay Tony. The latter is the owner of one of the biggest straight and gay bars around the town. You are a loyal servant to Gay Tony who takes his employer out of his current state of crisis. Gay Tony has been suffering from bad reputation and is also suffering from losses in business. The game features Liberty City’s glamorous night life, hot women, fast cars and mugging that we have known previous GTA titles to feature. Your employer, Gay Tony, is a big man in the Liberty City, you get to visit his clubs and spend time around. Now there are mini games in this title  [...]

Logitech MK700- Great On Ergonomics

thumbnail
We all know Logitech’s prowess when it comes to making keyboard and mice. It is the one of the biggest makers of such peripherals and you will seldom have anything about it to complain about. They make all kinds of keyboard right from gamming to light usage and the Wireless Desktop MK700 belongs to the latter category but by no means is a cheap set. It is made for the budget user who wants a modest keyboard and mice without all the rings and bells. This set doesn’t have Logitech’s unifying receiver something that lets us connect multiple Logitech’s peripherals through a single USB device. Rest of the features like great ergonomics, adjusting the scroll wheel of the mouse and great battery life are still there. So the most unique selling point of this keyboard in the set is the curved keys, which is called ‘Incurve’. The keys are concave in the middle and curved towards upwards on the edges. Logitech said this is done to provide better  [...]

Need For Speed Shift – Back To Basics Racing Game

thumbnail
We all know that has been going down hill of late and last installments like Black edition and Prostreet were like final nails in the coffin. Die hard NFS enthusiasts are turning towards titles like Gran Turismo. But Need for Speed are back with Shift which has drastic changes made to its game engine. The developers have ditched the story interface that we have been playing since Underground and now you get a shut-up-and-race environment. Yes! The good old race track days are back and this time they have even more eye candy. In Shift, you are a guy who keeps racing to climb up the ladder and eventually wins the World Tour. We don’t know how you will take abrupt end of story type theme that NFS has been having but we certainly liked these new look. In the first race, you get to choose the difficulty level which will remain the same throughout the game. But you can change it if you are not happy with the default settings that come. You earn money when you win races and you  [...]

Razer Orochi- A Great Portable, Gaming Device

thumbnail
With the number of gaming laptops rising, the hardware makers are now feeling they can cash in by making dedicated mice and keyboards for gaming. Razer Orochi is a by product of similar ideas. Now we all know Razer’s prowess when it comes to making gaming gear. It is one of the best and churns out good devices one after the other. We weren’t disappointed by any means when we tested the Razer Orochi. The mouse can be used as a Bluetooth wireless device as well as a wired device through USB. The rubber around the mouse makes it comfortable to grip when you are engrossed in games. The USB cord of the mouse is covered in cloth which makes it ultra rugged. This is a portable mouse and maybe this move has been made to make the mouse stand to the tough conditions that you might put it in, while traveling. The mouse can be used both wired and wirelessly, when wired the mouse gives sensitivity of 400 dpi but it will dip to 2000 dpi when you use it through Bluetooth. 2000 dpi is good  [...]

Microsoft LifeCam Show – Plenty Of Features But High Price

thumbnail
Microsoft’s last offering on webcams was LifeCam VX-7000 and though it was not that bad, it wasn’t that good on features either. The 1.3 megapixel webcam has a new successor in the form of Microsoft LifeCam Show. This camera is an improvement on a lot of features as compared to its predecessor. This device doesn’t work on MAC based computers. Microsoft LifeCam Show is a two mega pixel camera which can capture pictures at 1600x1200 pixels and videos at 800x600 pixel resolution. But an upgrade in hardware is accompanied by an increase in price. VX-7000 cost you $60 where as this camera will set you back by $100. It is up to you to decide whether it is worth to upgrade. Microsoft LifeCam Show has a Windows Live Call button, when you press it, it will start video call with your contacts on the IM list. It is called Windows Live Call button since it is from the stables of Microsoft, but the button works with messengers which support video like Skype. We were happy with the  [...]

HP Pavilion p6210y – A Good Entry Level Computer

thumbnail
HP is out with another computer, this time it is HP Pavilion p6210y and it has got plenty of good hardware but it doesn’t beat the Gateway SX2800-01 which is standing hard at number one position in our tests till now. The front of the cabinet has a glossy finish of black color so it is sure to attract a lot of finger prints. There is a panel in the front for plugging in headphones so that you don’t have to go running behind the computer every time. Aside from that there is a media card reader. Comparing this desktop when it comes to price, the HP Pavilion P6210y costs the same as Dell Inspiron 545s-3055NBK. The specs are the same of the two computers but HP gets the edge because of the quad core AMD processor. Gateway SX2800-01 is still the better computer than this product by HP, it has an edge when it comes to performance and it also costs less. When it comes to expansion cards, HP Pavilion P6210y has a single empty 16x PCI Express slot to put in your graphic card. If you  [...]
