Lexmark Impact S305 review – Excellent printing speed and great quality

thumbnail
Lexmark continues to manufacture budget-friendly multifunction printer. The best example is latest Lexmark Impact S305. We could not say that it is an All-In-One printer, because it does not include fax function. However, it can copy, scan and print at impressive speeds. The Impact S305 costs $99 and provides fast printing speed and solid quality as compared to others in its price range. It does not have an extra-ordinary design, but it will provide satisfactory performance. The control panel is located on the front of Lexmark Impact S305. You can rotate the panel or keep it fix on the body. You will find setup key and power button on the top left, whereas black/color toggle, start and stop buttons sits on the top right. 2 inches LCD display of Lexmark Impact S305 sits in the center of control panel. Kodak ESP 5250 review – Expensive deal

thumbnail
Kodak ESP 5250 is the latest upgrade to company’s ESP 5 series of all-in-one printers. The new model has improvements in the printing quality and speed, but not in design. The ESP 5250 costs $170 and has some major drawbacks. It does not have any auto-document feeder and has issues with paper feeds. These disadvantages are not forgive able at such a high cost. We will not recommend this printer. You can go for Epson Stylus NX515 at $150, which provides better sleek design and good performance. We will recommend the Kodak to concentrate and improve on the design of its printers. Moreover, all the printers including the ESP 5250 have same design and shape. At least, the design of expensive printers should be unique. Kodak ESP 5250 has 2.4 inches LCD display on the front. The display size is small as compared to 3-inch screen of ESP series. However, it provides bright and vibrant colors for easy navigation through menu options. The menu options  [...]

Epson WorkForce 610 review – Fantastic printing and copying speeds

thumbnail
Epson WorkForce 610 is the successor of the WorkForce 600 and has similar design and features except updated menu layout on its screen. The WorkForce 610 costs around $210 and offers a lot of features like auto-document feeder for hands-free faxing, scanning, copying up to 30 paper sheets; wired and wireless networking; and control panel for one-touch access to all settings. We really appreciate the company for regular improvement in fast printout speeds and easy printer wizard setup. However, we disappointed that the WorkForce 610 does not have auto-duplexer hardware to print on both sides of the paper-sheet. We were expecting this feature to come in a $200 printer. On the bright side, Epson WorkForce 610 has four ink cartridges bay to provide high quality color and black-&-white printouts. It has various customizable buttons, onboard memory card reader and optional software for closing the loop between play and work. Epson WorkForce 610 has  [...]

HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web Printer Review

thumbnail
Touch screen printers are rare and not many manufactures make it mainly because people don’t need a touch screen interface for a printer since it is not used as often as a phone or MP3 player. The other reason is that a touch screen interface increases the price of the printer and hence manufacturers are coy over making touch screen MFDs. HP and Lexmark are the two big players in the touch screen printer market and we got a HP Photosmart Premium TouchSmart Web in our offices for review. Now as the name suggests, this is a premium printer and not for light use. The printer can be connected wirelessly to internet and you can surf the web on the tiny LCD which is on the printer and print documents through them. The LCD on the printer looks quite similar to iPhone kept in landscape mode. But it is a little smaller than 4.5. The LCD looks very cute with an arm from the printer holding out the device.  [...]
