On the touch screen’s left, you have the analog ’slide button’ which can be used a joystick and the standard D-pad is also there. The manufacturer did not reveal the technology behind the 3D feature but the president said that you can adjust the depth of 3D by adjusting the slider. You can tune it according to your personal preference.

There have been lots of graphical changes in the Nintendo 3DS, the president showed all this in the conference. There is a camera above the upper screen and on the outside, you have dual lenses. This camera set up lets you take 3D photos. You can also play older Nintendo DS games on the 3DS.

Saturo Iwata said that Wi-Fi is very important in such devices these days and hence they have put in the feature in the new Nintendo 3DS. He further said that this console can interact with other compatible products while in sleep mode but not much details were revealed about this.

This is the first 3D handheld gaming console and hence there has to be new line up of 3D games for this product. Lots of companies are working to making 3DS games. Few amongst them are Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Sega, Harmonix, Atlus, Activision, and EA. The games by these companies include Hollywood 61, Battle Giants: Dinosaur Strike, Samurai Warriors, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles, Ridge Racer, Assassin’s Creed, DJ Hero 3D, Batman, The Sims 3, Resident Evil Revelations, Ninja Gaiden, FIFA Soccer, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D, Saints Row, and Kingdom of Hearts.

Apart from Kid Icarus Uprising, there was another big first party game for this console – Nintendogs but it includes cats too this time. The manufacturer has announced some more first party games like Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, PilotWings Resort, StarFox 64 3D, Paper Mario and Steel Diver. All these are still under development stages.

There were some partnerships announced as well for the 3D movie content on the 3DS. They include Dreamworks (How to Train a Dragon), Warner Brothers (Legends of the Guardian) and Disney (Tangled).

The release date or price for this product has not been revealed yet by the manufacturer but we will update this section soon when the company comes out with that.

The company is starting with Australian domestic flights first. Using iPad while you are in the flight is really cool, you can use it to access CDs, games, music videos, eBooks, TV programs, movies and lots of exciting stuff. Bruce Buchanan, Chief Executive Office of Jetstar said that they are expecting a rise in ticket sales with the introduction of this service. He also said that the company is looking to enhance user experience with this. If the initial trials are successful, they will be introducing the device on all the domestic and international flights all over within a year. Jetstar is working along with airline entertainment specialist Stellar Inflight and Bluebox Avionics for this project.

Apple recently launched the iPad some time ago and it was an instant success in the market. It is just like the Netbook in terms for specs and the device is a better computer for a traveler. This is the probably reason why Jetstar is looking to bring this product on to their airlines line up. The device has excellent screen and watching movies or TV shows is a great experience. Apart from that, reading ebooks is also comfortable since the device is big. Ebooks were also available on the iPhone and iPod Touch but it was not that popular since the screen was a bit small.

The Adobe Photoshop 5 has high-end features for the professional broader designer, and photographers. The content aware fill lets you to delete a particular photo region for an unwanted region and fills a customized background in its place. For example, it allows deleting the boat even without removing the sea beach. The advanced selection tool will isolate the subjects as compared to their backgrounds and even with the hair-sized complicated edges. It indicates the evidences of links between Shadow network, two people from Chengdu (China) and an underground hacking community.

However, they continued to determine the location of two attackers in Chengdu, China and raised a question why Chinese government did not take any action to shut down the “Shadow Network” organization.

The same researcher group has uncovered the “dubbed Ghost Net” – spy network last year that targeted the government and non-government organizations as well as the Dalai Lama last year. The researchers spent their valuable eight months in spying at the spies, grabbing the stolen documents and analyzing the malware. They infiltrated the systems of Indian Military Engineer Services, Indian embassies in Dubai, Moscow, and Kabul; and other private companies.

In targeted attacks, the persons at agencies received malware affected emails. Most of the samples collected by research group contain PDF files. The spy network used the accounts on Blogspot, Google Groups, Yahoo Mail, Twitter and other social networking Web sites for continuous updating on malware at compromised computers.

The researchers depicted in the reports that Shadow network people used various file types and exploits to attack on victims. The file formats includes DOC, PDF, and PPT extensions from Microsoft Word 2003, Adobe Reader, and Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 respectively. The attacker’s themes appear to involve most liked topics of Tibetan and Indian communities.

The data stolen by the spy network are 1500 emails of Dalai Lama office, reports on missile systems in India and documents related to NATO force details in Afghanistan. This is not a problem related to one country, but it affects the complete world and our privacy remains questionable.

Sprint comes on the third position on counting the 3G network subscribers. Now, it is the first U.S. carrier to launch 4G network. Sprint 4G will deliver 10 times faster speeds than 3G to the HTC EVO 4G phone.

The HTC EVO 4G features HTC Sense UI, Mobile Hotspot feature to connect eight devices, HDMI output, 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording, largest touch-screen, and Google Android 2.1 OS. Along with HTC Sense UI, the EVO 4G has various new additions like Friend Stream to aggregate several social networking Web sites into one; “Leap” thumbnail view to switch between home screen panels, polite ringer, and interactive widgets.

Android 2.1 will provide Google GooglesTM  to search with wine labels, artwork, captured pictures, logos, barcodes, landmarks, DVDs and books. An Eiffel Tower picture will provide several results on the HTC EVO 4G phone. What’s more emails and text messages will feature inbuilt voice-to-text interface.

Andy Rubin, Vice President (mobile platforms) Google, says: “The Android 2.1 OS will provide great platform to both Sprint 4G network and HTC EVO phone. You can access Google services such as new Gesture search, Google Earth, and Google Googles, and so forth.”

HTC EVO 4G phone with Sprit 4G network will be live in the summer of this year in 27 markets.

The software is free and it lets you read electronic books that you have purchased from Amazon’s Kindle store which currently has 450,000 books on sale. Through the software, you can buy new books or read the ones that you have already bought. You can also view highlights and notes but cannot make new one.

Beta version means that the manufacturer’s of the software are currently working on the application and they haven’t completed the work. There are rumors floating around that Amazon is pushing ebook publishers to sign contracts of 3 years. This won’t let publishers to provide the books at a better price to Apple or other companies.

Amazon says that the next version will let you make notes and add full text search. You need Mac OS X 10.5 or later for this. The software giant – Microsoft has showed something at a Mix conference on Tuesday in Las Vegas, which stunned the Web developers, programmers and normal computer users. Microsoft has released the platform review for next generation Web browser – Internet Explorer 9. It is a prototype browser for showing off the Microsoft’s effort to improve the IE browser. As per Dean Hachamovitch, Internet Explorer GM and his executive told that currently it is a basic framework and its updated versions will be released in eight-week intervals. After that Microsoft will release a beta version, its release candidate and then complete Internet Explorer 9 will be released. The IE9 9 will include latest plug-ins for free video and provides the best performance for JavaScript, text and graphics with the advantages of the latest computing software and hardware platforms. He also informed that Microsoft has included a new measure to receive feedbacks and reply back to the persons using IE9 prototype.

Being a prototype release, it will be very early to give any comment on user interface of Internet Explorer 9. There omissions include toolbars, history, bookmark, and Back button. The Internet Explorer 9 Platform Review is only for checking how the browser looks and what it needs to improve.

There are a few months in the final release of Internet Explorer 9; still it has great potential to alter the current browser war in the world market.
