HP Pre 3 Not Destined For US
HP Pre 3, the webOS-based handset will not be entering the US markets, says the latest reports from HP. Moreover, the handset now is selling in France and UK for a meager $75.
In his statement regarding the handset, Stephen DeWitt, the webOS chief reported that the unlocked Pre 3 smartphone will be launched in selected areas and by saying that he was not exaggerating. It should be known that the phone has already entered the European markets only a day before HP shut down its webOS-based tablet and smartphone plans. But now we have the confirmation that HP doesn’t have any plans to introduce the Pre 3 smartphone to US markets.
That said, there still is a tad bit of hope for the North American Pre owners who wants to upgrade: the handset upto some extent will be working on T-Mobile and AT&T’s network.
