Apple Releases A $999 iMac for Schools
In a quiet launch Apple released a brand Modern 21.5 in Apple iMac, which was specifically designed for educational associations on Monday.
The new iMac firstly detected by MacRumors, has a price tag of $999, which is less than $200 in comparison to the models that are generally available for the universal public.
Like for any other device, bringing down the price here also would have come at the disbursement of certain modern features. The new iMac is being called “an education-only Apple’s iMac”, and among the compromises made in this school only system the most noticeable feature is the absence of Apple’s all fresh Thunderbolt port. If the schools want the publically available version, then they can get it for an addition $150.
