EA Acquires PopCap Games For Almost $1 Billion

Though the rumors have been around for quite a long time now, but it has been made official now that the gaming major Electronic Arts has acquired PopCap Games for an astounding $750 million. The official takeover of EA on PopCap Games will take place in August, but both the companies have agreed on it and the deal is already done. PopCap Games is a prominent game developer, and is known for several games that the company has developed for iPad, iPhone and Facebook, formats. Google eBooks Device to Debut in eReaders Market Next Week at Target

eReaders and Tablets seems to be the order of the day for the modern electronic manufacturers, and after Apple and Amazon, one another major name entering the Tablet is of search engine giant Google. Facebook recently launched their video chat service powered by Skype. In order to get started with that program for video chat, users will have to download and install a program on the desktop. Apple Will Sell 25 Million ‘iPhone 5′ in 2011, Suggests Reports

No one knows the destiny of the iPhone 5 and how will it turn out to be, but Apple is intending to sell lots and lots of it. If the latest reports from Wall Street journal is believed, Apple is informing their users that they plan to sell 25 million "iPhone 5" by the end of 2011. The report comes from unnamed sources at Apple’s suppliers. The journal also reported that Taiwan’s Hon Hai, assembles Apple's products, and they also are the biggest contract manufacturer of electronics.
