With the thought of reviving the radio experience, Pure has launched the Sensia which is touted to do to the radio what the iphone did to the mobile. Its basically an internet connected digital audio system.

It comes loaded with a 5.7 inch touchscreen display much like the iPod with the help of which the user can search over a whole load of around 12000 radio and internet stations. It also has an application with the help of which the user can access his facebook and twitter accounts.

Pure aims to make listening to the radio a totally refreshing experience. Users could also connect this to an iPod dock and its also got a rechargeable battery pack with the help of which users could use it on the go and going by the claims of Pure, this pack should atleast last for twenty four hours.

This one is basically a Linux based machine and keeping that in mind this one could easily be opened to do anything that the developer wants. It wont be a surprise to see a Spotify app on this one in the near future.
