None

Carrying case and USB cord

The Whiz Kid Speaks:

Razer Orochi is a wireless Bluetooth device which can also be used as a wired pointer with the built in USB support. It is a laser mouse

Razer Orochi mouse is 2.7 inch wide, gaming 1.4 inch high and 3.9 inch deep. It runs of 2 AA size batteries. The mouse works on the following operating systems – Microsoft Windows Vista (32/64 bits), Microsoft Windows XP 64-bit Edition, Apple MacOS X 10.4 or later, Microsoft Windows XP

Razzle Dazzle:

Razer Orochi gaming mouse has an all black exterior and sports a haphazard design that gaming mice are known to have. The rubber around the body makes it easy to grip it in hand. Symmetric design can be used by both right and left handed users with equal ease. The mouse comes with a neoprene pouch for carrying around.

Inside Dope:

With the number of gaming laptops rising, the hardware makers are now feeling they can cash in by making dedicated mice and keyboards for gaming. Razer Orochi is a by product of similar ideas. Now we all know Razer’s prowess when it comes to making gaming gear. It is one of the best and churns out good devices one after the other.

We weren’t disappointed by any means when we tested the Razer Orochi. The mouse can be used as a Bluetooth wireless device as well as a wired device through USB. The rubber around the mouse makes it comfortable to grip when you are engrossed in games. The USB cord of the mouse is covered in cloth which makes it ultra rugged. This is a portable mouse and maybe this move has been made to make the mouse stand to the tough conditions that you might put it in, while traveling.

The mouse can be used both wired and wirelessly, when wired the mouse gives sensitivity of 400 dpi but it will dip to 2000 dpi when you use it through Bluetooth. 2000 dpi is good for a casual user and basic applications but it is not good for high end gaming.

The mouse has four buttons on the sides, two on each side, which can be programmed according to user needs. Apart from this, there are two main buttons which can also be programmed. There is a macro recorder for key-press timing.

Using the mouse is easy, you just have to plug the mouse in, go online, get the latest drivers from website and then get going. You can also use the mouse without the drivers but then the customizable buttons won’t be active. For Bluetooth usage, simply remove the USB cord and put in 2 AA batteries. You can adjust the polling rate, acceleration and resolution.

Razer Orochi is a great mouse for gamer enthusiasts who look for perfection in gaming. We tested the pointer and it came out with flying colors in all our tests. You can use this mouse with Windows as well as Mac platforms.

Nitty Gritty:

We will recommend Razer Orochi to gaming enthusiast because of the options for customization that it offers and also the 4000 dpi resolution. It is a gaming notebook mouse so it is portable and we have rarely seen such great quality delivered in this price range.

This is the best concept, having wireless and wired whatever is suitable. None of the company might have thought of this.

Macro recorder for key press timing? Does that mean that we can set time for clicking and after that particular time it will function whatever the click’s time is set? If that’s possible then I want 1.

You won’t get any drivers CD or DVD with the mouse? That’s strange because generally we get it with every new computer hardware.
