Inside Dope:
The case of the PC is stylishly slim and will fit almost anywhere in your room. The mouse, the cabinet and the keyboard are all black.

We had reviewed HP Pavilion Slimline s5220y and both fall in the same category budget wise. Both have the same hardware and both are entry level PCs. Don’t expect this configuration to handle HD content and run high end games.
There is nothing in this computer that will make a gadget freak’s hair stand on its end. The processor is totally outdated, it is a 2.6GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 and it might get down to its heels if you run fast applications or high end games. The latter will simply refuse to run on this system which has an integrated graphic card.
The presence of slower processor can be made up by the four GB DDR2 RAM. The frequency is 800 MHz compared to the 667 MHz that HP had.
Dell Inspiron i545s-1476N and HP Pavilion Slimline s5220y lock horns with each other as the two computers have same configuration. But the only thing that gives an edge to Dell is the presence of card expansion slots in side the computer. HP doesn’t have any expansion ports. In this Dell machine, you get 16x PCI graphics card slot, 1x PCI Express slot, two standard PCI slots, an extra hard drive bay and two memory upgrade slots. But you have to be carefull when you buy a graphics card, as it should be one that can go with the slim PC case.
Nitty Gritty:
The bottom line is that if you want a computer for nothing other than basic computing, and then buy this one. But this computer cannot take fast applications or high end games. This is strictly an entry level computer.
