LG has finally announced the BL20, which rings in more style than substance. If the Buzz making the rounds is to believed then this one would surely be cheaper than the BL40. Now that’s like putting the slider back in the Chocolate and offering it for a more cheaper rate. What else could anyone probably ask for? Though the specs of this one aren’t as impressive as the one of the BL40 this one could definitely rule the roost thanks to its budget pricing. Its got a 900mAH battery on board which simply means a standby time of 450 hours and 5 hours of talktime. The resolution of the screen of this one is quite less at 240x320 pixels. It comes loaded with a 5 megapixel camera and Bluetooth 2.1. The micro SD slot can hold cards upto 16GB. Good news for all the social networking fans. LG has finally announced the GW300- a budget QWERTY phone which is specially designed to bring social networking to the masses. This new phone being launched by LG will be offered in the UK by O2 and Orange. O2 will be launching the light blue model and Orange gets to lay its hands on the bright red version. LG has definitely come up with phones having better feature sets in the past. This one has a 2 megapixel camera and a 2.4 inch QVGA screen. Its got a 3.5mm headphone jack and the memory can be expanded with the help of a microSD card upto 4GB. It comes along with 900mAh battery which again is not that impressive because that would definitely mean that the user will have to charge it again and again. Motorola launches its first android phone: Cliq

Finally on Thursday morning Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha announced the launch of its first android phone at the Mobilize conference 09’ held in San Francisco. Formerly rumoured to be known as the Morrison this one will be introduced by T mobile later this fall during the holiday period. It will be sold worldwide as the Motorola Dext and T-mobile will be launching it in two colours: titanium and winter white. Standing at  4.49 inches tall by 2.28 inches wide by 0.62 inch thick this one weighs 5.6 ounces. It comes loaded with a 3.1-inch HVGA touch screen with a 320x480 pixel resolution and for all the music lovers, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. This new entrant into the Android arena offers access to various Google services. It also supports a number of email clients like Yahoo, Windows Live and the other POP3 and IMAP services and it also has the QuickOffice Suite for document processing. The Pharos comes along with the Spb Mobile Shell 3.0, which contains information in a more user-friendly and attractive interface.
