The phone will be released by the carrier in U.K somewhere in October and will be available on pre-order.

Looks like the budget android war is heating up with the T-mobile PULSE also being recently announced.

The HTC tattoo is the first customizable Android phone, which means that the user can design the skin for his phone. Now that’s innovation I say. Also this one comes loaded with 2.8 inch touchscreen display, FM radio, audio jack, 3.2 megapixel camera and not to forget the brilliant Sense UI. It also supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This one will surely keep you entertained wherever you are.

Also the buzz doing the rounds is that this one is going to be quite light on the pocket and definitely is also one of the reasons many are eagerly waiting for this one to be launched.

What started first at around 900 BST was finally put to an end after Orange took charge and got the problem fixed. On Thursday many broadband customers faced a sudden blackout which continued on for a few hours. A few blackberry users couldn’t access their emails as well and some of the other customers could not access the internet earlier during the day. According to the officials at Orange this took place because of some wreckage of critical cables.

Many customers complained that it was quiet goofy for such a huge company which has around 1 million broadband customers in U.K to be hit by such a problem. However the officials at Orange haven’t clearly mentioned the root cause of the problem but they were quick enough to retort that the problem was fixed within a few hours of it being identified.

Off late, Orange mobile also announced that it would be merging its U.K business with T-mobile.

Finally on Thursday morning Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha announced the launch of its first android phone at the Mobilize conference 09’ held in San Francisco.

Formerly rumoured to be known as the Morrison this one will be introduced by T mobile later this fall during the holiday period. It will be sold worldwide as the Motorola Dext and T-mobile will be launching it in two colours: titanium and winter white.

Standing at 4.49 inches tall by 2.28 inches wide by 0.62 inch thick this one weighs 5.6 ounces. It comes loaded with a 3.1-inch HVGA touch screen with a 320×480 pixel resolution and for all the music lovers, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

This new entrant into the Android arena offers access to various Google services.

It also supports a number of email clients like Yahoo, Windows Live and the other POP3 and IMAP services and it also has the QuickOffice Suite for document processing.

It’s got a 5 megapixel camera along with video recording capabilities. It is also 3G compatible and offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.

The thing that sets it apart from the rest of the Android phone clan is the Motoblur interface. What is impressive about the Motoblur is that it streams all your information from Facebook, Twitter and the other email accounts and automatically updates it onto your home screen. This avoids the constant opening and closing of applications. Though it’s a pretty decent feature what is left to be seen is how helpful will it be to the user of the phone. Hopefully this one doesn’t just turn out to be a clutter of updates on the screen. The specs are impressive enough though not astoundingly awesome, sanguinely this one stands out amongst the other Android phones.

Expect T-mobile to come up with surprises like this. Apparently its planning to start a joint venture with Orange U.K and is in talks with France telecom the parent company of Orange U.K.

But the buzz doing the rounds is that even telecom majors like Telefonica which is parent company of the O2 and Vodafone are trying their hands out on this one. Now that sounds like there are three competitors putting their best foot forward to collaborate with T-mobile.

Some insiders suggest that the market price of T-mobile is about 4 billion euros but the network is worth a whooping 6 billion euros as far as value creation is concerned and again it would just be around 5 billion euros to France telecom.

Going towards market leadership…this inevitable takeover by T-mobile would add an extra of around 15 percent to any network in the U.K. At the moment O2 currently has a 25 percent share and Vodafone and Orange have a market share of 25 percent and 22 percent respectively.

The main point to be noted in this case is that whichever of the three bags the deal would emerge to be the largest network in the U.K. And this could also lead to an improvement in the price competition.
