Vodafone 360 can be seen as a brand new range of internet services for mobiles and PC’s which can put together all the friends, communities, entertainment  of the user and can be easily synced with the PC.

This offering from Vodafone comes along with a ‘Vodafone People’ which can easily sync the user’s contacts from Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Messenger And Google Talk. The all new 360 app store will provide its users with new apps, games, music and mapping services. Also Samsung will be launching two new handsets which will include the unique 3D display which runs on the proximity algorithm and brings the most frequently contacted people closer in the front of the screen.

The release date for the 360 would most probably be somewhere during the Christmas season.

The phone will be released by the carrier in U.K somewhere in October and will be available on pre-order.

Looks like the budget android war is heating up with the T-mobile PULSE also being recently announced.

It’s Vodafone ringing in some good news for music fans this time around. Well in its latest attempt to popularize its music store Vodafone has plans of offering free music to its users this Friday. In keeping with the plan the Vodafone music store has undergone a total overhaul and is planning to provide the users with ten free tracks from a variety of artists. Along with the free music Friday Vodafone is offering a pack of 10 tracks at a price of  £5.

Also the company can cash in on this idea by plugging in the Real Time Top 40 site. The users can tweet which ever track their listening to and based on the most popular tracks a chart of the top songs will be jotted down.

Vodafone has signed a contract with Warner Music to supply DRM-free tracks to the music store which now means that the store has all four major music portals under its hood at the moment.

But the buzz doing the rounds is that even telecom majors like Telefonica which is parent company of the O2 and Vodafone are trying their hands out on this one. Now that sounds like there are three competitors putting their best foot forward to collaborate with T-mobile.

Some insiders suggest that the market price of T-mobile is about 4 billion euros but the network is worth a whooping 6 billion euros as far as value creation is concerned and again it would just be around 5 billion euros to France telecom.

Going towards market leadership…this inevitable takeover by T-mobile would add an extra of around 15 percent to any network in the U.K. At the moment O2 currently has a 25 percent share and Vodafone and Orange have a market share of 25 percent and 22 percent respectively.

The main point to be noted in this case is that whichever of the three bags the deal would emerge to be the largest network in the U.K. And this could also lead to an improvement in the price competition.
